I think you could just do that by transferring funds to each connected account though I am not sure what restrictions if any there would be. I am consulting my colleagues and will get back to you

Looks like you can do this in the US as that is where we allow Top Ups. So you could top up your platform account's balance and then transfer those funds to each connected account and then it would get paid out to them https://stripe.com/docs/connect/top-ups

I understand there are 3 types - Standard, Express and Custom

Should be available for any of those account types. They all allow transfers from the platform account
