I suspect you've hosted the Shopify file for Apple Pay domain verification, and not the Stripe one
Which is normally the correct step if you're using Shopify
Hi, Thanks for your reply.
What I can do now? I'm confused.
What specific issues are you having with Apple Pay in Stripe?
Because of how Shopify integrate with Stripe, you don't need to upload the domain verification yourself to Stripe. See: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/accelerated-checkouts/apple-pay
When we try to place order using Apple Pay it's not working.
'it's not working'. What specifically?
But, we already enabled the Apple in Shopify. It's showing invalid address. Also, the amount shown does not include shipping charges, you can see the attached screenshots.
Then this doesn't seem related to domain verification. If there was issues with the domain certificate, then the Apple Pay button wouldn't be visible
Bejesh thank you so much for your patience. I tried to get into the apple pay settings but I cannot access it because you are using a third party payment gateway (STRIPE). Since this issue is about the Payment Gateway, I highly suggest to contact STRIPE to fix this.
This is the message we got from shopify support.
I guess that:
- Your shipping details in your Apple Pay wallet are invalid. Try fixing some of the fields there.
- I guess the shipping charges are omitted because they're calculated when you provide a valid address.
Apple Pay button is visible. When we proceed, we're getting errors.
These are not Stripe issues, but more specific to details in your Apple Pay wallet and/or how Shopify integrates
Yes, exactly. So it's not related to the domain verification issue you first asked about
We are using the same address for other sites, and the Apple Pay worked fine. So it's not related to domain verification, fine. But other payment options like visa, mastercard, american express, are working fine with the same address.
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out. I understand that you are contacting us in relation to adding Apple Pay to your shopify plugin. Whilst we here at Stripe have no access to your Shopify account if you are seeing errors adding a domain for Apple Pay in your Stripe dashboard I will be happy to help.
I looked over your Stripe account and there is currently no domain file added to your Stripe account but replicating Apples request to your server when you register shows me that a domain association file is present. I also ran a test on your servers security certificate[1] and it meets Apples requirements listed here.[2]
I would be grateful if you could visit your Apple Pay settings in your Stripe dashboard here[3] and forward me any errors that you might see there.
Since your integration is through the third party Shopify plugin there is a chance that the error you will see there will tell you that the wrong file is hosted on your server. If you do see that error it means that your integration is using Shopify's checkout rather than Stripes. So whilst Stripe will still act as a payment processor for you there is no need to activate Apple pay with us. If you do see that error Shopify's documentation here has a guide on activating Apple pay with them[4] here via your Shopify Admin.
Once you can come back to me with the screenshot of what if any error you might be seeing in your Stripe Dashboard I will be able to do more from my side. If you have any questions in the meantime please let me know.
All the best,
James

Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
Again, this isn't a domain verification issue. You wouldn't see the Apple Pay button if this was related to domain verification. This is likely related to shipping expectations in your Shopify store, and the shipping values set in your Apple Pay wallet
Thanks, Please let me know how to set shipping values in Apple Pay wallet.
Through your iOS device in the Wallet app, I think. I'm, not really sure it's unrelated to Stripe
Thanks.
