Usually yes. Can you share the request ID (req_xxx) that you update the persons details, so that I can double check if it's been verified again?
My friend sent an email to Stripe asking about this and got the answer that updating personal information will not change the verifiation status.
Do you have the request ID (req_xxx) that updates details, so that I can double confirm? This channel is for technical integration and we don't have the expertise about verification process.
I don't know where to get request ID
Here’s how you can find it: https://support.stripe.com/questions/finding-the-id-for-an-api-request
Find help and support for Stripe. Our support center provides answers on all types of situations, including account information, charges and refunds, and subscriptions information. Get your questions answered and find international support for Stripe.
Please do not share the secret key on this channel as it's visible to everyone
I'd recommend rolling your secret key since it's been shared here: https://stripe.com/docs/keys#rolling-keys
Looking into it now
After the person is updated in https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/events/evt_1N0xoJRc4xy2na04ndKMTmqY, Stripe sent account.updated event in https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/events/evt_1N0xoJRc4xy2na04GX5sMU3p to request for further verification
Does the further verification have any effect on payout of the connected account?
It's possible. It depends on the onboarding requirements of each country. For this acct_1MxnyIRc4xy2na04, the payout_enabled was already false before making changes to the person details in req_yn1vdHEPQkAFx8
