Hmm, I'm a little confused. Is this only available outside of the USA? Are you saying Stripe doesn't support Wires at all in the USA?

This is not ACH Direct Debit, its an ACH Bank Transfer which encompasses Wires: https://stripe.com/docs/sources/ach-credit-transfer

Ok thank you, just terminology confusion then. You can see how the documentation is confusing - if you click "Learn more" it takes you to a page that explicitly says US is not supported. If you click ACH Bank Transfer it does show US support, but was not obvious that is clickable. Also, maybe it's because I'm outside the business but I've always thought of ACH as separate from wiring and did not know wires were a subset of "ACH Bank Transfers".

I'll review with my team if this option is better for us. The down side seems to be the user needs to do behavior in their bank from outside our app
