Hello! API versions, by definition, are not backwards compatible. We create a new API version every time we make changes that are not backwards compatible. See here for details: https://stripe.com/docs/upgrades

What you can do in a situation like this is write in to Stripe support, explain the situation, and ask them to set the API version on your new account to the same API version on your existing account: https://support.stripe.com/contact/email
