Hi, I get these three webhooks event ,two of them are being asked for more informations ,but another no.I would love to know how can I avoid this situation ?
Not restricted :
evt_1MwMTnIiBNhPwDMpK9SxCOUD (acct_1MwMT8IiBNhPwDMp) ;
Restricted soon :
evt_1N00M5IdukT3v7K7wnOboDvN" (acct_1Mz4WRIdukT3v7K7)
"evt_1MvKDHIJGVE1ia7BnDYDXNBg", (acct_1MvJt5IJGVE1ia7B)
๐ sorry for the delay!
No worries ๐
So evt_1N00M5IdukT3v7K7wnOboDvN and evt_1MvKDHIJGVE1ia7BnDYDXNBg were sent to alert you of an issue with the individual.verification.document requirement for these accounts.
yes
And my question is ,is there any way to avoid this ? For instance ,is it possible to set all the informations that Stripe required in the onboarding process while create an Express Account for a user ?
As a fellow User- I have seen that Stripe is required to independently collect some of the information due to KYC and AML rules and regulations - they are not allowed to simply "accept your word for it".
You can prefill a fair bit when you create the account (I do this, myself) - but not everything
Hmm , the things are ,different country might have different requirements ,it will be difficult to do so .Dose Stripe offer a api or onboarding form for this ?
Yes, there is (especially for Express) Stripe-hosted on-boarding...
(And yes, onboarding different countries and regions makes this quite complex - my own system is US-centric for much that reason)
You can try to prefill as much information prior to onboarding if you have that available: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/express-accounts#create-account
I have just taken a look at what you sent to me, and I did indeed set up this onboarding process. The two events that required verification actually filled out all the information required in the onboarding.
I assume that the reason for this problem is because I am letting two users use this account, and I did not enter the same information each time. Am I correct in my assumption?
If you look at the event details, these events were sent because of an issue with onboarding. Specifically, the identity document that was shared by the user could not be verified
Ah ,It means ,this problem are from create Express Account ?
The issue seems to be related to the onboarding process for creating an Express account, specifically with the verification of the user's identity document.?
The problem is with the identity information that the users are providing when they are going through the onboarding flow
