Hi there
Hi!
So you want to enable ToS on the Checkout Sessions via https://stripe.com/docs/api/checkout/sessions/create#create_checkout_session-consent_collection-terms_of_service
Then you set your own ToS link that you want used in your Dashboard at: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/public
Great, thank you!
Sure!
Ok I added the URL link, but cannot figure out how to enable it on my checkout page.
When you say "my checkout page" are you using Stripe Checkout?
That is what it sounded like above when you said "creating a checkout link"
Are you redirecting to the Stripe hosted Checkout?
I created a checkout link with 2 products on it. But when you click on "Terms" at the bottom, it takes you to Stripe terms instead of our company terms.
And yes, its a stripe checkout page.
Can you provide me with the Checkout Session ID?
Ah this is a Payment Link
Sorry!
Are you creating your Payment Links via the API or Dashboard?
Dashboard..I think? This is the first time I've used Stripe
Gotcha then when you create the Payment Link in the Dashboard (or update your current link) under "Advanced options" there is a little tickbox for "Require customers to accept your terms of service"
Is that ticked?
What do you mean?
If you go to your Payment Link: https://dashboard.stripe.com/payment-links/plink_1McCJaLGFCLgUvZkXuRqqLJd
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
Then click the 3 dots on the right at the top
And click "edit"
Down in "advanced options" there is a "require customers to accept your terms of service" tickbox
It's not on mine.
I have "Allow promo codes" "Save payment information for future use" and "allow customers to add tax id"
Can you screenshot what you see exactly on that page?
