Hi
Did you checked that support article and follow it? does the terminal and your laptop in the same network ? What kind of wireless are you using? is it company one ?
yes i checked the article and tried everything that is listed there
the reader is in the same network as my pc
it's a personal network
i tried to forward the ports in my fritz box but i think this downst worked
in the Stripe Dashboard it says the reader is Online
but the pos app won't connect
what happens if you open a terminal/command prompt on the PC running the POS app and run
nslookup 192-168-178-97.645kkkriyvjum2zotqoc.device.stripe-terminal-local-reader.net ?
you'll have to change the PC to use a different DNS provider as described at https://support.stripe.com/questions/the-stripe-terminal-sdk-is-encountering-dns-errors-when-connecting-to-an-internet-reader
on my device or on my fritzbox?
I don't know what a 'fritzbox' is
a router
but either I suppose. Right now your PC relies on that fritz.box to do DNS lookups, and it can't resolve that domain
so either you change the router to use different upstream settings, or change the PC to just talk to Google/Open DNS directly instead
and did it work?
then I'd try changing the PC settings
