Hi 👋 I'm not sure offhand how well Checkout Sessions can handle this, running some tests.

While I do that, one option that comes to mind is to allow your current item to have an adjustable quantity where anything >1 are additional seats, and then use a pricing model that charges per license (may need to be a tiered price if you want different prices for additional seats).

yeah, I thought of that, changing it to Graduated Pricing, but I didn't think that would be very clear to my customers that in order to add additional users, they'd have to change the quantity of the subscription package their buying

Yeah, that's a good point. I do see that is expected for cross sell quantities to be limited to 1, and my testing also confirmed you can't add a placeholder item with no quantity.

was really hoping there was a way adjust the quantity of cross sold items, that would fit my needs exactly

However, I did find that you can add it with a quantity of 1 and allow the customer to adjust that quantity, this gives them the option to remove entirely if the minimum is set to 0.
