Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm not sure offhand, but to make sure we're aligned, you're referring to when your application use our SDK to connect to a reader? You see a prompt to sync contacts at that point?

Correct. I can send a video of it

Gotcha, I'm not sure about that one, let me see if my teammates are familiar with that at all.

Thank you

Can you share some snippets of your discovery/connection code?

#

Was the reader ever paired via the devices settings previously, or only using the SDK?

#

Yes that is correct we are seeing it when connecting with those methods. It only happens the very first time the reader is paired with a device. The reader was never paired previously, only using the SDK. Yes I will grab some screenshots

Ok looking into this but I'm not aware of this happening in the first place

Could it be an android specific thing? I don't remember it happening with the iOS SDK

Hello - yeah I'm confirming that this is happening on multiple android devices. From our research, it looks like this is something we can't really disable on our end, and has to do with the "pairing mode" that is set on the actual hardware: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42647579/change-pairing-dialog-appearance-in-android

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹

I just wanted to confirm that is is indeed part of the Android BT permissions dialog

sturdy umbra

is this something we can change?

#

or is the part of all bluetooth requests?
