yo alex i contacted earlier i am having a error when ppl want to pay with ideal you guys told me contact jouweb, and jouweb saying contact stripe
so its not helping me a lot it is taking a long time now and still my payment doenst word on the site

so i did contact and send a lot of mails, they are sending me back to you guys ๐ฆ
can you share more on why they directed you to contact Stripe? Like when you said Ideal doesn't work - as my colleague asked : what doesn't work? what error message are you seeing?

What's your Stripe account ID?
Yeah I can see no indication of iDEAL issues on your Stripe account. Is there somewhere I can reproduce this? How does a customer get to this error in your checkout flow?

just go webshop > trading cards and order 1 of this bakugan then choose ideal and with checkout you'll get this error

Yeah I've got to the error. Unfortunately whatever third-party system you're using control your Stripe integration so you really need to speak to them. There's no indication that their iDEAL flow even uses Stripe from what I can tell
There's nothing in our logs to indicate an issue or an error
so again i need to contact jouweb?
they cant fix it too they said. so i will look for another website to build my webshop then i guess.. strange you both can't fix it. all my work for nothing. thnx for the info. have a good day
It's a shame they're passing off any responsibility, but there's no iDEAL issues on your Stripe account. You can see that for yourself here (it's enabled): https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
So however they're using our APIs/UIs in their product is preventing you from adopting iDEAL. As a customer of their product, you have little/no control over the Stripe integration so ultimately it is on them to figure out why iDEAL is unavailable
If you had built the Stripe integration yourself, then sure I'd be more than happy to help you. But as it is, there's not much I can do
