Is 3DS largely working otherwise for your users? That may be an issue with their bank's 3DS page

Do you have the ID of the payment intent that that was for? Have you been able to relate that customer to some payment in your dashboard?

Will look to see if other users have been seeing this error lately

Also do you know if those users tried on different devices or in different browsers?

They tried a credit card and said it worked. so assuming it can be a bank problem
