When you pass in the Customer Id and they already had attached Payment Methods, yes the PaymentSheet will show those automatically. It's like how the PaymentSheet behaves

If you don't pass in customer Id, but attach it later on ie. webhook, then you will force the UI to scenario 1

in both cases, i have the customerId passed to the mobile client however. So we're wondering why on one simulator it shows "Add your payment information" but the other one shows "Select your payment method"?

the machine that shows "Select your payment method" is on both an iOS and android simulator on a M1 Mac.

however, on another machine (mac intel), it shows "Add your payment information"

That sounds weird to me. Have you tried in an iPhone?

on an actual iphone not yet, we can try that first

i just wanted to confirm if there's some setting on the payment sheet where we can disable selecting and removing existing cards
