Google pay and Apple Pay are implicitly allowed when passing card to payment_method_types. If you want to disable showing them you would need to do that at the Payment Element level: https://stripe.com/docs/js/elements_object/create_payment_element#payment_element_create-options-wallets

It's possible that it was, but there was no payment method added to Chrome, since Google Pay only shows up if a valid payment method is added to the device or browser

OK, thanks for the documentation. We have not set the option for either of those to 'never'
