It'll be 1000 JPY. JPY is one of the zero-demical currencies where you don't need to multiply it by 100 https://stripe.com/docs/currencies#zero-decimal

This means that none of the coins listed here have to be multiplied by 100. The interface is passed in as much as the user sees. For example, if you pass in 1000, and you choose PYG as the currency, then the customer will see 1000 PYG?
