so today we setup some customers as connect customers to receive pay ins

sometimes customers would have both

Ok in that case I just recommend you create a customer object for them on your platform account and charge them via a paymentintent

It would be no different than accepting a payment from any other customer: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/accept-a-payment
