So yes you are reading that right. The Stripe fee will come out of the portion of the payment that you get back via your application fee

Ok so am I safe in assuming that if my platform charges a flat 4% application fee and the fee is being passed along to the customer, then the user would get the full amount they intend to charge, the stripe fee would be subtracted from the application fee, and my platform would receive the remainder of the application fee.

Correct

If you make these charges in test mode they will show the proper amount of Stripe fees by the way

Testing would be a good way to confirm your calculations here

Thank you 👍🏼, ya I built everything with direct charges and after a convo on here am now switching to destination so I wanted to be clear before writing everything, will do.
