Yes for Apple Pay it doesn't work, because there is domain verification which is required otherwise it won't work. This is an Apple requirement.

But what about ApplePay in an iframe with different hosts ?

Every host that will have Apple pay, needs to be registred.

But again this is an Apple Pay constraint when using iframes
