Before I attempt setting up Stripe.js from scratch on the frontend to get a btok_xxxx object, I just want to verify this is in fact a supported functionality
Hi there! Using that endpoint (create a bank account) is only supported for Custom accounts

How would I allow an express user in Canada to add a USD account?
I've been redirecting them to their dashboard via https://stripe.com/docs/api/account/create_login_link, but I don't see any options to add an additional bank account
In non recipient type express accounts, I have a button that allows me to add an additional bank account.
OK found a bug. Once you click on Edit and then cancel, the "Add account" button shows up again
ah got it! Yep, CA-based accounts should be able to add bank accounts for USD and CAD: https://stripe.com/docs/payouts#supported-accounts-and-settlement-currencies
Can you share more? if you create a new account link and try to view the payout details again, do you see the same error?

I can't see any xhr request errors on my end
Hm, I can't reproduce on my end with that link. I can see the test payout account when I click on the payout details
can you add a new account?
- edit the test payout account
- save
- click on "+Add an account"

If you refresh your page then open the Payout Details pane again, does "+Add an account" disappear?
No it stays. But if I close this session and create a new login_link again it disappears until I go through those steps again
Can you confirm you can reproduce the "something wrong" issue? If not I will get someone else to try. Might be isolated to me
Yes, I can see the "Sorry, something went wrong." message after following your steps above. I had to edit the already-saved payout account in order to see the "Add an account" option
