Does the billing end up on a marketplace bill?

Not sure I follow. If you use the Stripe Billing product, you'd be responsible for submitting usage details to Stripe. The Stripe Billing product would create invoices and payments on a set recurring schedule

Right, so the AWS docs you linked above are just an example of how you could bill for usage with AWS + Stripe, though Stripe in their example could be replaced with any other payment processor/billing solution with an API
