That depends on how you host your website. Basically you need to make sure that when someone reachs out to https://yourwebsite.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association , you send the file right back

When people go to your URL, are they going to a server that you personally run? Or a Wordpress server? Or something else?
