Thanks for flagging, can file a feature request for that. I think we do only check "is this parameter passed in" before throwing that error

Thanks. It's just easier to pass all the same parameters when updating/creating a payment intent

Now I have to if-else that parameter in depending whether we update or create the intent, but the value is always the same
