@obtuse whale I am asking something slightly different. My understanding is that "requesting 3d secure" merely means we request it from the bank, and from the there the bank decides if the user presented with a challenge or if they receive the frictionless flow (please correct me if I'm wrong). So I don't want to know not only if the transaction matched the rule, but also if the user receive the challenge flow. Thanks.

You mean you want to know if the customer experience a 3DS challenge or a frictionless flow?

@obtuse whale Yes. Again, my understanding is that merely requesting 3ds does not always result in the user experiencing a challenge, because, once requested, the bank then decides if the user should get the frictionless or challenge flow. Please correct me if that assumption is wrong but I've asked that before and been told that.
