I don't think AddressElement currently supports making fields optional unfortunately.

For Billing and Shipping addresses, we usually expect a name to be associated.

I see. Though I can create a customer with billing address without linking any name when I use APIs. Stripe Dashboard doesn't mandate any name on billing details either (I can edit details without entering a name). It's a bit frustrating to not to be able to do this with Stripe elements. Thanks for the reply.

Right, totally understand. Its just that address element doesn't currently support that 😦
