Hi, what does 'until good authentication' mean here?

When I say physical check, I am not talking about the payment. I mean that we physically have to inspect the good (for example some sneakers) and certify that they are real & in great conditions

That makes is trickier as the only option I could think of was: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/place-a-hold-on-a-payment-method. However, it works well with cards but it won't work with Direct Debit: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/place-a-hold-on-a-payment-method#auth-capture-limitations
With Direct Debit we would go with refunds then?
There is no holding funds here, it would process the payment right away. You'd then refund.

It seems that destination charges would be a solution but there is no way to hold the funds after the direct debit?
No, it's not a supported payment method.
