Hmmm... and I'm guessing you're doing createPaymentMethod and then calling confirmPayment right?

well we don't use the confirmPaymentMethod for anything besides making sure it's valid really

I think this is a bug w/ the beta - I'd suggest writing in to the folks that enabled the beta on your account so they can flag it to the team.

For context - what's happening here is that while setup_future_usage is already correctly set on the PI, mandate_data is missing, and should be passed in automatically
