https://stripe.com/docs/payments/sepa-debit says that the currency used is EUR
in this case I think it's the bank that refused the transaction
The payment currency is in EUR, but the IBAN insert by the customer can be from a non-EUR bank. Is that supported?
if the issuing bank accept SEPA debits then yes
We are using PaymentElements, we have no control over the IBAN inserted by the customer, if a legitimate customer inserts his IBAN from a non-EUR bank, unaware that his bank will not honor it, we are automatically losing a disputed and charged for it. How do we avoid that?
