Can you share the request ID?
If you can't find the request ID the account ID would work as well
"id": "acct_1MPA2UDEvB386YmW",
On the return object it says:
But I'll wager that's not what's on the account right now.
It's so weird
And what view are you looking at in the dashboard that doesn't match that? DO you have a screenshot?
ah perfect
Support threw up their hands and pretended we have some automatic processing resetting it. Mmmm hmm. Yeah.
So looking at that account, it looks like there's something that's automatically updating the statement descriptor back to "Charities Aid Foundati" (https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/iar_cT4UXx94SO6VB9)

It's not us. We are using PostMan to send this update. We don't have an automatic process.
Do you have any request API info for the reset call?
Presumably it's landing on your API and you can see the reset request.
I just tried to sift the events for the entire main account this is connected to and I can't even find the event I sent much less a reset reverting it.
Are you sure you don't have any code running that could be doing this? From the information we have you're account is the one making this call using our Ruby client library
My team hasn't built anything like this.
Can you provide the details of the call from Ruby you're seeing?
Or at least direct me to where I can find it in the dashboard
