Was this in a specific doc or thing that Stripe wrote? Not immediately familiar with that upgrade but can look in to info on it.

No nothing official, I was just asking about capabilities of Payment Element versus Payment Sheet in a previous thread in here, and was told that Payment Element doesn't currently support managing existing payment methods but it was something you had as a planned feature.

Yep we don't currently support showing saved PaymentMethods on Payment Element
