@wispy rose I'm not sure I get what that could mean. Why would a trial period start at a specific time versus immediately?

say I will be away for a month in 5 days time, I want to set trial period for that month so my customers don't get charged. but I want to do it now, I don't want to wait 5 days until I can set the trial period

you can use SubscriptionSchedules in that case to plan future changes to a Subscription: https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/subscription-schedules does that work for your need?
