Ok yeah if you use Invoices, then those are integrated with Stripe Tax

Oh, yay. Okay, so if I add the address element, will the tax be calculated once the address is given or does that happen only once the invoice is created? I'd like to display the final tax amount on our checkout screen

I'm sorry, one more question. If we update an invoice to add a shipping address, would the tax get recalculated then?

Not a tax expert, but I believe so since where the item is being shipped to factors into the tax calculation according to: https://stripe.com/docs/tax/supported-use-cases
