@honest peak no we don't support tax details or line item information on PaymentIntent. It's just one total amount. You'd handle the tax logic/breakdown on your own

I have a lot users that want to see the Tax details in Stripe. So, what if we were to create invoices via API is that possible to add taxes then? And would we still be able to pay off invoices with Stripe Readers?

We currently do have tax breakdown in our App but we are starting to get more requests to have it show up also in Stripe

If you use Stripe Readers I assume you use Terminal, our in-person payments solution? If so then no that is basically impossible today. There's no compatibility with Invoices or tax calculation support

okay thanks. It would be very helpful if it is possible to add a tax amount on a payment intent and it will just appear in Stripe. Hope you can take this back as feedback to development team.

definitely, I already shared this internally but I would recommend raising this directly too with our support team: https://support.stripe.com/contact so that they can track your ask with your account, ask more information, etc.
