Ok was reading up on this, and I think this might just be a misunderstanding of expectations
You still need to create the portal sessions, which will then use URLs with your custom domain to smooth the transition for customers
As I understand, this is analogous to the Checkout process described here: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout/custom-domains#test-your-domain
You then appears to be using the no-code integration approach as well, which produces the login link
That's expected as far as i can see
