well for example we had a problem today with the Stripe merchant dashboard not showing information(https://twitter.com/stripestatus/status/1633816594580398080) , maybe that's what the merchant means by not seeing a payment on their end

From 04:00 – 12:40 UTC, newly created data were not reflected on the Dashboard. This issue is now resolved.

but that's for them to investigate and ask us, as an end-customer you have no contact with Stripe, you talk to the merchant you paid
