Hi there ๐ we aren't too familiar with the dashboard functionality in this forum (we primarily focus on the API-side of integrations), so I'm not sure offhand.
When I look in my test accounts, I only see two options being offered. In your two screenshots, are you looking at the dashboard for the same Stripe account?
yup it just randomly started showing all discounts
is it preferable for me to go to the regular stripe support for dashboard questions? I posted here because it seems like a bug of some kind (unless I'm missing something but I can't see what since it seems totally random)
It can be a bit hard to tell sometimes, I'm looking to see if I can find any mention of recent changes or evidence of this behavior being reported as a concern recently.
awesome, thanks
Are there any differences between the process used to capture those different screenshots? Logged in as different users, using different browsers, things of that nature?
nope, I was just sitting there like "I JUST saw and used it, why isn't it there after a page refresh" Then I was refreshing and on a random refresh, I saw all options in the filter
all on the same tab and account, nothing was different
just the fact I had refreshed
Gotcha.
Can you try this:
- Navigate to the list of Coupons that exist in your account:
https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/coupons - Navigate back to the Customer list page and see if the full list of options is displayed in the discount filter:
https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/customers - Refresh the page and see if the list in the discounts dropdown reduces back to the original 2 options.
๐ Completely agree, I was checking to see if what you were seeing aligned with what I saw as being reported.
Now I can bump that with our teams.
Can you share your account ID so I can reference that you raised this?
I'm actually not sure where to find that
is this it "vH03GH31ZvT2lI7yU8bcClq9jDHOPU4O" ?
found on the Account Details page
I think pulling it from near the top right of this page is the easiest way to get it, it should have a acct_ prefix (depending on the age of the account):
https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/account
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
I am seeing an account using the number you provided, so I think I have what I was looking for.
yeah its the same number when I go to the page you linked
thank you for your help! you just really saved me a ton of dev time now that I can actually reliably filter by a specific discount lol
Awesome, glad to hear I was able to help you in the short term, and I'll reraise this concern with my colleagues to have them look into a better long-term solution.
