@molten lava no today you mostly send them to the Dashboard. We don't really have an API for "deep-linking" to some Dashboard settings really.

OK, thank you. Conceptually, why is it that account_update doesn't work for standard accounts? Is there a reason other than it just not being implemented?

because this is solely for the Connect Onboarding UI where someone can go and manage their personal information about the account and it's been built/designed for Custom account (which don't have a good UI otherwise to enter this information)
