Here's one idea:
you could use a graduated pricing where 1 unit == 1m requests (and you would track that on your end). Then setup things like this. So the first 1m is free, and then it's $5 for every 1m.

Thanks Soma. That could work. Although we then lose the granularity for reporting. But maybe we don't need it as we are tracking it somewhere else.
The issue arise when we offer a free allowance that doesn't match the price unit i.e. 500k allowance but a price per 1m

Thanks Tarzan. My use case seems like a pretty common scenario. I am surprised there isn't a guide or a feature to enable it. I would be very grateful if such a guide existed and you could point me to it. Otherwise is there a support channel that could help? Like a specialist in this area?
