Yep! Should be. Are you encountering a specific issue?
I was trying to do so through the Dashboard but I am not able to find a way to test it.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated
Well, how do you currently accept payments with Stripe? Checkout? Elements?
With Checkout in principle
Wallets should just be surfaced on Checkout assuming they're enabled here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
Yes, that’s right, but I wanted to create test payment using Apple Pay for example or any other digital wallet to make sure everything is correct.
Would be the case where we just select the payment method manually and that’s it?
You can't do that from the Dashboard, no
The quickest way to 'test' Apple Pay would be to create a Payment Link
Understood, thank you!
But in reality, there's nothing to test. If you have it enabled in the Dashboard and your customer(s) meet the Apple Pay criteria then it'll be offered on the payment page
Yes, that’s what I was thinking, cause even if I’m able to select digital wallets as a payment methods, does Stripe have any test card or anything like that? I assume if I use a genuine Apple Pay card, I’ll be charged for the operation performed, right?
You need to have a real card in your Apple Pay wallet to meet the requirements. But in test mode we automatically substitute it out for a test card
Great, so I can perform a test using my own Apple Pay wallet and Stripe will substitute it out for a test card. The same applies to Google pay?
Yeah. Real card in your Google Wallet (https://pay.google.com) and we'll substitute it out in test mode
Note it doesn't work with Chrome saved cards
That’s great, thank you very much!!
