hello! what do you mean by setting a payment date for specific transactions? Can you elaborate on that a bit more?

Apologize, specifically on that - not entirely sure, I remember a while ago when I integrated connect I was able to set a certain date when the money should go from platform account to seller account (or something like this)

But actually I'm more interested in learning API limitations for Standard accounts

there's no API limitations in that sense. The way you would want to go about it is to list down your requirements, and then see what account type is best
