We are in the process of implementing our Stripe integration. We are in the ticketing industry, so we can have high demand when putting an event on sale. Our best record was about 800 orders per minute.

I would like to understand the actual limitations of the API in order to prevent rate limiting in these scenarios.

Gotcha - so I'd highly recommend writing into support (https://support.stripe.com/contact) if you're going to be frequently running high-volume events. I think for the most part IP rate limits wouldn't affect your payment flows, but they'll know best
