Do you have the ID of the customer that this happened for?
cus_NFMtFNN210uxbK
I got an error when trying to delete txi_1Mg7cgJYEQYOIedotc9p0HO1 for instance
And I got an error when trying to re-create a tax id with the (fake) id FRAB123456789 of type eu_vat
Gotcha, thank you for the IDs. Checking in to them to see why you got this error
Thanks
Do you have specific IDs for when you saw this behavior? We are having trouble finding them ourselves
If you know when you made this call it may be easy to find them on https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
I made the calls in the last hour. ids I shared are testing ids (not production ones).
I can provide you other ids if you want, just tell me what you need
Unfortunately I seem to be a bit too busy to filter for those IDs properly. Would you be able to make these calls again and send me the new request IDs?
sure
Oh never mind, found it. Basically the ID is created when you pass it as part of a customer update like this https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs/req_EGpy7lF2KwgI82
So when the separate call to create a Tax ID object happens, it is considered a duplicate https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs/req_NYKKgB1m4fT8QD
Same story for clearing the ID from the customer object https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs/req_peTKdslHSKtY0I#details
Then making the delete call https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs/req_6JfkjrEwZqoZDV
