And I got an error when trying to re-create a tax id with the (fake) id FRAB123456789 of type eu_vat

Do you have specific IDs for when you saw this behavior? We are having trouble finding them ourselves

I made the calls in the last hour. ids I shared are testing ids (not production ones).

Unfortunately I seem to be a bit too busy to filter for those IDs properly. Would you be able to make these calls again and send me the new request IDs?

Oh never mind, found it. Basically the ID is created when you pass it as part of a customer update like this https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs/req_EGpy7lF2KwgI82

So when the separate call to create a Tax ID object happens, it is considered a duplicate https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs/req_NYKKgB1m4fT8QD
