Hi! Let me help you with this.
There are 2 ways to transfer money from a Connected account back to the Platform:
- Reversing transfers - send back funds received via a transfer, limited to the original amount: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/charges-transfers#reversing-transfers
- Account debit (not fit for Standard, unfortunately) - debit Express or Custom account for an arbitrary amount (some limitations apply): https://stripe.com/docs/connect/account-debits
Ok, that is not working me. I have a bunch of standard connected acocunts, and I can't change them all.

In general you can't charge/directly manipulate the balance of a Standard account as you can with Express/Custom, as you don't "own" their account since you're not liable for negative balances, as opposed to using Express/Custom, therefore we don't allow it.
One option can be to collect a payment method from the owner of the Connected account and charge them as a Customer of the Platform, but obviously that isn't the same thing.
