this is checkout afterwards with card (no billing address needed)

ok this is normal, not all Card Payments need to collect detailed billing address

there is no way of pre-filling the address for the customer unfortunately

when it comes to sepa_debit

oh okay I see, is it possible to first create the payment method (with address only) and then add it to customer, so it is being prefilled here like this? Or won't it work neither?

do you mean start by collecting the billing address in the checkout session then assign it to the customer afterwards?

even before (e.g. in our portal). In 1# screenshot, the user enteres its billing address. On the button click, we create a customer via stripe api and then open the checkout session with this customer.

so I thought, maybe in between customer creation and checkout session, it might be possible to create a payment method and attach it to the customer, so that in the checkout session, sepa_debit is prefilled
