Hi there, the customer objects can only exist in one Stripe account, and you can't share the same customer object across different Stripe accounts.
The workaround is to create a new customer object in your UAE account.
Thank you for your response
it is the only workaround ?
I was able to charge the customer on the Europe account in AED! it is not the best of solution but it is the only one I've found
Can you elaborate more? https://stripe.com/docs/currencies?presentment-currency=AE#presentment-currencies Your Stripe account registered in UAE can also charge your customer in EUR
Maybe you can share with me more about why you are "forced" to open 2 accounts.
Because in my European account there is no way to add a Bank account with AED currency
And in My UAE account there is no way to add € Bank account !
it is wired 🙂
I see, alternative currency payouts are only available in select countries. https://stripe.com/docs/payouts/alternative-currencies#:~:text=Alternative currency payouts are available in select currencies for businesses in Hong Kong%2C Singapore%2C Australia%2C and Europe%2C including the United Kingdom.
Yes I know but AED not in the list
and in my UAE account there is not button to manage currencies
It will be a good think if Stripe add a new feature to approve multi accounts based on the legal documents for same company, and when it is approved by Stripe then all approved account that hold by the company should be visible
Like my case, it is the same company but I need to do a wired stuff to implement the payment in tow different area
I'm afraid that's the regulation requirement that we need to fulfil. I know this is not the best user experience, you can share your feedback with support at https://support.stripe.com/contact/email
