I have even tried on different wifi networks
I have these settings on, in my test mode. i don't think this is causing any issue, because I had it on earlier as well. But just wanted to let you know if it had to do anything with this

Are you passing in 'India' as the country? When you change this to 'United States', do you still see this issue?

On my test account, I cannot reproduce this but I was not aware that you were passing 'India' in teh country.

I think that is the issue. Let me look at India specific test cards
India has specific regulations that are different than most countries.

Yeah, India specific cards do need to be authenticated. But the thing is earlier this white pop didn't show up for the 4242 4242 4242 4242 card even if I had India selected, and I had tried it multiple times. Only a week back I started to see this

I'm unable to reproduce this. Can you try different browsers? I'm selecting 'India' as the country and using 4242.

Yeah It is still happening in chrome. It is when you fill the details and click on Proceed, the white pop up shows up
just gimme a minute I'll share a new link with you, as the old one is expired (cause the payment does succed after the white popup)
Go to Change Card >> FIll the card details >> Click on Subscribe.
You will momentarily see a white pop up like above and the payment would then succeed
By "proceed," I meant the "Subscribe" button.

Last week I was trying to put in all the test cards that are available on the testing page to test my payments flow. In that some cards required some sort of a authentication, for which stripe sent me codes on my email. But I didn't fill the codes (sending the subscription in incomplete mode). Again, i don't know, if that is something relevant, but sometime after this I started seeing that popup

When did you change this 'Enable 3D Secure' setting? (The one from your screenshot earlier?)

If I remember correctly, that was enabled much earlier. And didn't get any popups at that time
Should I try disabling it?

Yeah, I was able to confirm that it's a 3DS pop-up. It looks like it's a requirement for all Payments: https://support.stripe.com/questions/3d-secure-authentication-for-international-card-payments-to-indian-businesses . I recommend that you test this card, 4000003560000008 instead: https://stripe.com/docs/testing#asia-pacific

Okay. I get it. Though it still is weird that just a blank popup comes up. Also It didn't happen a few weeks ago.
Anyways. Thank you so much for the help! I believe the blank popup would just be for the test mode, in live might see some kind of an actual authentication. Just a small suggestion if possible, please make the blank popup say something, or have a button click or something just so it is not this confusing! 😅

That is beacuse 4242 test card is not set up to support 3DS.
