Where is that parameter referenced? What are you trying to do exactly?
Well, Stripe Support chatbot has suggested me to stop using this parameter on our subscriptions if we don't use Avalara.... but then I went to the docs and I can't find this parameter documented anywhere
What kind of problems are you having with Subscriptions?
If you can describe the issue, I can help identify the cause and offer some solutions
Everything started on this post I did two hours ago
#dev-help message
After this response, I went to the chatbot, who looked into the subscription link, and suggested us to stop using the pay_immediately flag
Then, I went to the docs to find more info about this flag, and what impact could have in our system to change it....
Can you share with me an example sub_xxx that is being canceled?
There's no such parameter AFAIK
This subscription https://dashboard.stripe.com/subscriptions/sub_1LagTbIYOry9WQXw5tubZiN3 got cancelled after 5 payment attempts in 20 days (expected behavior)
Then, since January, this customer has started reactivating subscriptions and they got cancelled after the first failed payment

Our question is why this last subscription have ignored the failed payments policy we have configured
This user payments problems are related to the Indian RBI problem.. but still, we are concerned to have subscription that can fail after a first failed payment attempt
Looks like the Invoice was closed for max payment attempts, but there was only 1. My assumption here is that it's related to how the Source/card_xxx object used for the payments was setup. I suspect there's an RBI mandate missing
