Can you share a sub_xxx or evt_xxx ID?
Sure, here is the event id : evt_1MbksFCouZlpUmlStaKGN4Pn
sub_id : sub_1MbksBCouZlpUmlSdjSkHS39
Looks like promo_1MbjMuCouZlpUmlS0IzOmOl2 has been used up (reached max redemptions)
Subscription creation doesn't fail in those instances, it just won't generate a discount
yes, it reached max redemption when I used this promo code for creating the current subscription.
If you check the invoice.payment_succeeded event having id "evt_1MbkxyCouZlpUmlS7xWrpEEj" you will see that this have been used in the same subscription
and this event is actually returning me data in discount array
So it should have returned same when the subscription.created event also
Hmmm, let me see if that is expected
okay
Is this the first time you've noticed this? Or has it happened with other customer.subscription.created events?
This has happened with previous events also
I can get you another event id if you need it
I can't recreate this. In my tests the discount hash is populated relative to the promo_xxx
Suspect its some kind of race condition
All events? Or sporadically?
There is a customer.discount.created event that is also created that may be helpful in this instances: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/events/evt_1MbksECouZlpUmlSVemwDCzI

I started noticing this today only since I tried discount synchronization today only.
here is another subscription which had same issue sub_1MbjQLCouZlpUmlSwnSYqAdu",
I can check on old subscription events also
Hmm, weird. I can certainly raise this internally with the team. As stated, I can't reproduce the problem
okay, Please do
Also, I checked webhooks and this has happened yesterday also
