hi , this is my volume pricing for a product.
what happens is
if my count is until 5
the amount in proration is right
but when it reaches 6
it goes down very significantly and gets back to normal on 7th count
take a look at this
do u see the 2091 amount charge?
why so abrupt decline in amount all of a sudden on boundary case when a new tier is starting
e.g 1-5 it is fine
when it hits 6 there is sudden decline of amount too much
but after in 6-10 for count 7 8 9 etc the amount is back to normal
do u understand my question?
Can you share the subscription ID (sub_xxx)?

Hey! Taking over for my colleague. Let me catch up.
did u find the issue?
So far, I'm not seeing any issue, the gape in the amount is noticed when a new volume rate is used.
but why it gets normal on the 7th one
why there is sudden decline on boundary value
For invoice:
https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/invoices/in_1MbhVWIfyyzwPELMXYLYJudF
YOu have 62838.6=17031.6(~17,031.54 without usd period). and 52988=14940 (14,939.95)
because between 6and 7 there is no flat rate difference.
It's like part of the 6items was paid already with 5items, as the 5 item unit price is more than the 6items unit price
dont close this thread , let me look at it deeply as well
buy i still dont understand the behaviour of this
for first 5 users it charges normally
why charging so less for 6th one
i dont understand the corelation between flatfee here
what is the difference between 6 items with price 2838 and 5items with price 2988?
ignore the proration, because in your case is just some minutes of use on a yearly prices
oh so i've messed up volume pricing with graduated pricing
what i wanted was graduated pricing
👋 taking over for my colleague. Let me know if there's any follow-up Qs I can answer!
