what solutions are you looking at? it sounds like you already looked at a few?
Hi! Yes. From what I had read from the documentation I think the only way to giver our photographers user the money (Uruguay connect accounts) is throw out cross-border payouts
yep, that's correct
That seems to be the only way to send money to a connect account that has been created in a different country rather than the plataform origin connect country
So, I wanted to confirm that. Because maybe I missed something and is another way that it's better
who do you want to be the merchant of record? the platform, or the seller?
What that means?
do you want the platform or the seller to appear on the customer's credit card statement?
then yes, cross-border payouts is the only way
I was thinking if there was a way through paypal or something similar
I saw that stripe accepts paypal. Is it possible to open a connect account and instead of providing a Uruguay bank account, provide a paypal account
no, that's not possible. we accept payments via paypal. We don't do payouts via paypal
I'm looking for a solution that allows me to use other implementations rather than cross-border payouts. I guess the fee they will charge for each transaction would be greater than the amount the photographer will receive. So it wouldn't work
So the only way to deliver money to my photographers users connect account (Uruguay) will be cross-border payouts
yep, that's right
Okay
Is there any place defined which will be the cost to make that payout to a Uruguya bank account throw cross-border payouts?
You'd want to reach out to Stripe Support for that - https://support.stripe.com/contact They'll be able to point you to the correct page / guide. We mainly help with API related questions on this channel so we're not familiar with pricing
That make sense
